Our commitment

The Mitch Clemmons for Congress Committee wants electmitchclemmons.com to be useful and accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Our ongoing goal is to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably possible. The website has not yet undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance.

Accessibility measures

As the website is developed and maintained, we aim to support accessibility through:

  • Clear heading structure, readable typography, and sufficient color contrast.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation, links, buttons, and forms.
  • Visible focus states and descriptive labels for interactive controls.
  • Meaningful alternative text for important images.
  • Responsive layouts and touch targets designed for mobile devices.
  • Plain-language content and short, descriptive sections.
  • Captions, transcripts, or accessible alternatives for campaign media when reasonably available.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of major web browsers and common assistive technologies. Accessibility features rely on modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA support. Older browsers or devices may not provide the same experience.

Known limitations

Some third-party content—such as donation pages, embedded video, social-media features, maps, documents, or forms—may be controlled by outside providers and may not fully meet our accessibility goals. Older campaign materials may also require remediation.

If any content is difficult to access, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to provide the information in another format or help complete the task.

We welcome reports of accessibility barriers. Please describe the page, the problem you encountered, the browser or assistive technology you used if relevant, and the best way to reach you. Do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for us to assist you.
